Think I did something not so smart

We have very close friends who are back in town after being away while their 4yr old son fought and beat a very aggressive brain cancer. Needless to say we had even more to celebrate than just the 4th of July They came over to grill with us and at the end of the evening I bent down to hug him and he wanted me to pick him up. I wasn't thinking (he's about 35lbs) and scooped him right up in my arms. Not the smartest thing I've ever done but I was just so happy to hug and love on that little guy.It didn't hurt at all at the time but now I have a sharp pain that feels like a mix of a pulled muscle and a side stitch in my lower left side.  It may also just be a coincidence since I feel like the rest of my stomach is stretching and growing but this spot feels different.
