Question

So my soon to be ex husband and I met today to sign the paperwork to start the divorce process, and he asked me if I wanted to have my name restored. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do about my last name! 

What would you do? Keep his last name or go back to my maiden name?

Part of me wants to go back to my maiden name because I don't want to be associated with him, but then wouldn't it be easier if I had the same last name as my kids. 

Man I am so confused, why does this process have to be so frustrating and hurtful!
