I've been trying to get ready to do a 5k. I know that I can't run the whole thing but my goal was to run/walk it in 40 min. I ran today for the first time since Wednesday. I did 2.6 miles in 36 min.
I bought new running shoes yesterday even though the race is next weekend and I'm cheap and wanted to get through, but my shoes have been used for running/cardio for almost a year so I kind of needed.
