It's like my dogs just knew I had today off

I took today through Wednesday off from my main job. I woke up to trash literally spread from the bathroom to the front door. The dogs had taken down both trash cans in the kitchen. Luckily, they didn't get into the bathroom one. I'm sure both took part, but Jake has chef boyardee sauce on the bridge of his nose. Sadie didn't want to eat her breakfast, so I'm sure she enjoyed herself too. They ate holes in the trashbags. Sigh. Looks like we're getting trashcans with heavy lids this weekend.

They've only gotten into the trash once in the 6 years since we got Jake (Sadie came 5 years ago in Oct). They've dumped the trash twice in the past week. I'm sure they're protesting about something, but I don't know what it is.
