C-sections

TAPS block- anyone had one or planning to have one?

June 2012 in C-sections

My OB asked me today if I wanted one after the csection (a TAPS block). It's supposed to make recovery less painful and quicker. Its some sort of abdominal muscle anesthetic that is long lasting.I did a little googling but other than that have never really heard of anyone having one. Just wondering if anyone has any experience.
