Pump parts ?

I'm heading back to work next week and I had read that some ladies put their pump parts in the fridge in a ziploc bag instead of washing or having extra parts on hand... So my question is can I do the same with the bottles? If I bring a large bottle to collect the days milk into, can I just use two of the pump bottles for the day? Or should I just suck it up and go buy more little bottles?
