Second Child??

My husband and I are beginning to discuss our thought on having a second child. My husband has financial concerns, not so much for now... but for the future (college, weddings, etc.) Anyone out there who:

1. Has had regrets bringing a second child into their family because you cant give your full attention to the first child?

2. Was worried before baby came along but then everything turned out better than expected?
