Pumping HURTS!

DS is 7 months old and I have been pumping at work for 5 months.  Just last week, I noticed when I pump that it really hurts my nipples.  I thought over the weekend, it would give them and break and be okay.  But today again it HURTS!  It's like a sharp pinching feeling.  I haven't changed anything in my routine or with my pump.  I also see flaky, peeling type skin around the nipples.  Last week, I also notice what I thought looked like a blood blister on my nipple.  Any thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated!
