Biting!

I am having a bit of an issue with biting lately and need some help! I had read previously if they bite to push their face into you. Maybe I'm not doing it right but it's not working. He is biting me a lot. and it's not a quick bite, he holds on. and it hurts bad and my nipples are sore! It is making nursing stressful as I am not as relaxed because I am anticipating a bite down.
