I've had a lab since I was 10. She was seriously the most awesome dog. On Tuesday, she came walking out of my bedroom and fell. This wasn't uncommon because of her arthritis, but she splayed. Her back broke and she was paralyzed. I'm still a mess. 

Hug those furbabies extra tight. It all happened so fast. You just never know.
