Fussy feedings before bed- why?

My LO is 9 weeks and I would say this issue started about a week ago. We have an extremely fussy, irritating and difficult feeding at night before bed. It is so odd to me because our feedings during the day are fine, still improving every day. But when the evening rolls around LO latches and re-latches a million times, cries and fusses throughout the feeding, squirms all around, has frantic breathing, and starts clawing with his arms. Then when I try to burp him he starts the karate legs and throwing his head all around. It seems like he is getting pissed because he is not getting any milk, yet every time he comes off the breast, there is plenty of milk still coming out of my boob. LO has always been quite the comfort nurser so I don't understand why all of a sudden he seems so unhappy. Reflux? Just overtired at the end of the day? I really can't figure it out. Anyone else experiencing this and have any tips?
