Hi y'all.
So I got my pump issues figured out - turns out it was a faulty diaphragm. Anyhow, now that I know I can pump, I am struggling with oversupply and overactive letdown issues. There are no LLL resources in my area, but when I spoke with a lactation consultant at the public health department, she suggested donating excess milk to the local children's hospital.
Does anyone have any experience with donating breast milk? How much of an oversupply becomes enough to consider donation? What else can you tell me about your experience?
Thanks!
