I hugged my pump today...

...because it is officially our last day together. We have definitely had our ups and downs...for most of our relationship I couldn't wait to kick it to the curb. But I am so grateful that it exists, and that it has enabled me to continue to provide BM for my son for over a year. I've been down to one session a day for awhile, and am now only producing about 3 oz. I know it's time to quit, and a big part of me is more than ready to be done with pumping at work, but I'm actually kind of sad! I NEVER imagined that quitting the pump would be so bittersweet. So thank you, pump, for all you have done for me and DS. I'll miss you (kind of).
