A little nervous...

I'm not exactly TTC at this time, but I did go off the pill. I am turning 29 on Saturday and getting married in 112 days. Well my period is late now. I'm having quite a few symptoms of pregnancy. I slept most of yesterday because I was so dizzy and nauseous. I'm only 3 days late now, so I'm not sure I should take a test just yet. So I'm a bit nervous and excited and just want to know for sure. Is it too soon to take a HPT?
