Bad Latch

I have been troubleshooting our BF issues by doing everything under the sun! The one thing I know for sure is that DD has a bad latch which I think is a big culprit in our problems. She will not get a wide enough latch and uses her lips to suck the milk. Her lips are really tight.

We are working with a LC and are doing cranialsacral therapy, but I am wondering if there are cases where a latch cannot be corrected? We are going on 7 weeks and it is extremely frustrating!
