Biting!

My LO just cut her lower two teeth and is biting. I've yelped a few times, and put her down for a few minutes after she does it. My question is how long did it take your LO to stop biting? I'm getting serious anxiety about nursing her now, and I get jumpy every time she pauses. Any advice is appreciated.
