What do you mix cereal with?

My little one has been eating cereal for about a month now (almost 7mo), and I have been mixing it with BM. I have had a drastic dip in supply due to a clogged duck, and now, for the past week due to some health issues, she has been nursing non-stop when I'm home. I am not able to pump enough for daycare and my freezer stash is dwindling. So every time I have to put an ounce or 2 in her cereal, I start resenting it...like I'm wasting valuable BM!! Sometime I cut it with water or apple sauce. Is it bad that I'm considering buying some formula to use to mix in the cereal?? Anyone have any suggestions?
