Decided on c-section, date is set

Ladies, I posted here a few weeks ago to get your opinions on my situation. My OB wanted me to choose between c-section and vaginal birth based on my history of vaginal tearing with sex, vaginal exam and scar tissue buildup from those tears. 

 Well, I made my choice. I am going with the c-section. My OB told me that the risks for the baby were pretty much the same either way, which convinced me to choose what was best for me. I know the short term recovery will be harder, but the long term recovery will be more certain. With vaginal delivery my long term recovery could go either way. My situation is already hard on my marriage (pain, tearing during sex) and I really don't want to risk making the pain any worse or making sex almost impossible. 

Now that I have made my choice I feel much more at peace with my decision and am beginning to be able to wrap my head around it all. Of course I am nervous, but I have two weeks to prepare myself for this.
