When to start bc pills?

I keep trying to call my ob but the nurse won't return my call! I'm going to keep trying tomorrow. I got my bc pills at the pharmacy but do not know when to start them. Normally the Sunday after your period but I dont have a period back. So not sure when to start them. When did anybody start theirs?
