3 week old feeding sched normal? xp 0-3 mo board

(To start off I have seen a lactation consultant and she did not seem concerned, however I still worry)

My 3 week old feeds every 2 hours for only approx 10 minutes on one side. He then refuses to take any more. The LC told me I have an overactive let down, and huge supply. Since hes gaining weight, has plenty of wet/poopy diapers and is happy she said dont worry about it as hes likely getting all he needs much faster than a normal baby. My concern is we are still on a nipple shield (working on weaning off of it) and want to know if this is normal. He hasnt always nursed this little, just in the past few days hes cut it down. Does anyone else have any history of this as well?
