What would you do???

I'm 36 weeks and had my first internal exam today.  Apparently, my pelvic bones are super close together....like my dr couldn't even get two fingers in, so she is going to continue monitoring me, but thinks a c-section is likely.  Also, the exam was really painful . I was always fine with the option of a c-section, but assumed I would be making the decision because of something happening during labor.  This kind of caught me off guard.  I'm not opposed to having one, especially since it does look likely that trying for a vaginal delivery could cause complications.  

My question is...what would you do?  Do I go ahead and tell my dr I just want to schedule a c-section or try to do stretches and wait until I go into labor??
