First time pg, one drop of blood...

Hi, Ladies,

 I am 5w6d pg and have had no hint of spotting or discharge to date.  This morning when I wiped there was a drop of blood on the tp.  It was quite literally a drop, as small as a seasame seed maybe.  I have not one ounce of cramping, and I when I checked internally there was no hint of color, brown or red.  It looks more like I picked a scab and dabbed on it than a swipe of color.  I realize this sounds utterly rediculous and I should just call my ob, but my first appointment isn't for another three weeks, and since they have never met me yet, I feel sort of silly.  I just checked again and the paper was totally clean.  First time mom freaking over nothing, or should I just be that annoying call at the OB?
