1st Trimester

Can I remain calm for my baby?

Hello Ladies,

I am in my late 20s, and I recently discovered I am pregnant. My SO and I are thrilled for the baby. This will be our first baby, and of course my first pregnancy. My Dr. believes that I am 5 weeks pregnant, and I have my 1st ultrasound in two weeks. I continue to have the feeling that my period is coming, yet I heard this is a typical feeling in pregnancy. I've read so many blogs and posts, as we were TTC some time ago. In those post, there were many women that conceived and  woman that encountered harmful or fatal pregnancies. I know life happens, and my baby's future is in God's hand. But I also don't want to add unnecessary stress on my baby/ body due to worrying and being over concerned for normal pregnancy feelings. Me and SO pray, and my SO caters to me to ensure I am comfortable, unstressed, and receives what I need. Are there any calming techniques (mind and body) that any of you experienced mothers or mothers-to-be have use and can offer?
