Introduction

Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a long time in TTC and now First Trimester.  My husband and I have been trying since December 2010 and just got our BFP in April.  We?re pretty excited!

 

I had my first appointment today with the nurse to go over my medical history, give a urine sample and quite a few vials of blood.  She surprised us by checking for the heartbeat (I?m 8 weeks tomorrow) and we were able to see it. I?m not usually a very emotional person but I?d be lying if I said I didn?t get a little choked up.
