1st Trimester

Help: Brown spotting at 8 wks

June 2012 in 1st Trimester

I am 8 wks today. This is normally the time i would have my period. I only noticed it on my panties a little bit and now when i wipe. I'm not asking anyone for medical advice as I just talked with my nurse and she said to follow up with my doctor tomorrow unless i have extreme cramping and period like blood. I have some light tightening in my pelvic area.

Has anyone experienced this? Any advice? I had an ultrasound last week and all was fine.

Thanks. I'm scared.
