Trouble Cleaning Medela Parts

Ok, maybe I am just a clean freak, but I never feel like my pump parts are clean enough.  I wash them in hot soapy water each night followed by the steamer bag.  It doesn't get the gunk in the corners (even after soaking the parts).  The inside also still feels slimy.  I suppose this is from the fat from the milk, but it drives me nuts!  I just boiled the parts again this weekend, and they already look gross to me.  Should I just ignore the gunk or is there something I can do about it?  Thanks!
