DS (10 months) nurses on both sides every time he eats. He has 7 teeth. He has been biting me when he finishes each side. He isn't emptying the side before he bites me. I will gasp a little and sternly say "No bite" as I unlatch him. Sometimes he will frown a little, sometimes laugh at me, and sometimes cry. If i offer him the first side again and he bites again, I switch sides. I end the nursing session if he starts biting the second side. This has been going on for almost 2 weeks, and I'm not sure I can take much more. I thought it might be teething-related because he just got another tooth last week. But now I'm afraid it's a habit. I have also started telling him "No bite mama" when he starts nursing and when switching sides. I don't know what else to do.
Does anyone have suggestions, advice, encouragement?
