Seasonal Allergy Meds and BF

Hi...I usually post on the February 2012 board, but I have a question that I am hoping can be answered here.

I have TERRIBLE seasonal allergies in the spring time...to the point that I can't breath at all out of my nose, sneeze constantly, have to sleep sitting up, etc.  My OB and pedi said that I could take regular Claritin while BF, so that's what I take only when it gets really bad. 

I've noticed that my supply is ok when I only take it for a day or two in a row, but as soon as I take it for a third day in a row, my supply tanks...a LOT! 

So, my question is...Is there anything I can take that won't tank my supply? or...Is there any way to prevent the loss of supply while taking Claritin?  I already have to supplement due to a breast reduction, but I don't want to lose my supply completely...at the same time, I can NOT function sometimes with how bad my allergies get.
