AF and BFing?

How does AF affect your supply long-term? Is it something that is ONLY affected/decreased when you are on your period - or from there on out? & what do you do when it is decreased when on your actual period - tips for not getting baby too angry during those 3-7 days AF is here (or until supply goes back up).

This might sound like a stupid question, but I'll notice a dip in my supply monthly, right? Not just my first AF PP? Does supply typically recover when AF is over?
