Traveling with a pump questions...

Hi, All,

I'm going to be gone for a little over a week and don't want to lose my supply while I'm gone. (I'm still nursing my 14-month-old in the morning and at night.) I was wondering if you've flown somewhere with your Medela PISA or similar pump. If so, did you count it as your carry-on or did you pack it?

I thought about maybe sending it ahead to where I'm going, but I didn't know if that made logical sense or not.
