Soreness at bottom of breast?

I have a tender area that just appeared when I woke up this morning. It's right at the bottom right near where the band of my bra would go. I pumped that breast empty this morning and it's still pretty sore. Could it be a clogged duct all the way down there? What should I do to head this off before it become mastitis?
