6 week EBF baby not pooping

DS has slowed down with his bowel movements this week. Previously, he would have several a day, but this week he went two days without having one (had an explosion on day 2) and now it has been 3 days without having one. He is very gassy and often has a tiny (just enough to discolor a small area of the back of the diaper) amount of poop in his diaper, but nothing like what he had before. He is still feeding from the breast every 2-3 hours and has about 10 wet diapers a day. He has an appointment with the pediatrician tomorrow and I'm planning to mention this, but I'm not sure if I should be worried. Is this normal for breastfed babies?
