Moms who were still BFing LO #1 when LO #2 was born...

DS is 17 months and we are due with our second LO the same week he turns 2.  I am hoping he will still be nursing at that point.  If he is, I am wondering how it worked when you were in the hospital having #2?  Did you get to nurse #1 at all during your hospital stay? If not, did they go back to it after you came home?

Since we have 7 months to go I guess it's a little early to be worrying about it; I don't even know if he'll decide to wean before then, but I'm just wondering what your experience was. My hospital stay with DS was 5 days, I'm hoping to shorten that this time!
