Ameda vs Medela: are bottles interchangable?

I'm having problems with my Ameda pump and will have to call the company tomorrow.  The suction only works about every 5-6 cycles.  It takes forever to pump and I don't feel like my breasts are emptied. This suction problem has gotten worse over the last few days and I've changed all the parts I can change.  Also the motor makes a weird noise so I'm pretty sure the problem is with the pump not the parts.

Anyway, I'm going to call the company tomorrow but if they are resistant to helping me or just give me a hard time I may switch to medela.  I have a bunch of ameda collection bottles, so does anyone know if they will work on a medela pump??
