This can't be normal...??

I have had sore, achy breasts since I started nursing 3.5 weeks ago. The best way I can describe it is what my breasts feel like before my period, but worse.  They hurt when touched, when I hug someone, press up against something, etc.  I have an oversupply, and it is a little bit better than it was, but I still get pretty engorged, especially at night. Is it still normal to have such sore breasts all the time?? I am always uncomfortable and in pain. Could this be thrush? I haven't noticed white spots in LO mouth...would my the breast pain be more sharp with thrush?  Thanks for the advice. I am at my wit's end!
