leaky nipples and BF'ing?

I'm going to be a first time mom, and I plan to BF. For those of you who have BF, is there any relationship between leaky nipples and level of ease/difficulty to BF? At least I know I'm producing and expelling milk, right? I would love some insight.

Also, does anyone know the most common reasons why a woman can't/won't be able to BF? Thanks!
