Confused at how much to give per bottle

I recently started pumping to allow myself some freedom and my husband gave LO his first bottle the other day. The bottle had 3 ounces in it and despite a slow flow nipple, frequent burps and changing arms LO finished it in under 10 minutes. 

He then immediately started rooting and whimpering like he wanted to eat more so my H brought him to me and I fed one side.

Kellymom's calculator makes it seem like my LO should take no more than 2 or 2.5 ounces in a bottle. I am so confused!

Did we over feed? How much should he get per bottle?
