If your C/S was planned, did you still do the GBS?

I had an unplanned c-section for my son, so this little one will be a planned c/s.  With him, I had the GBS test around 36 weeks.  I forgot to ask my doctor when I saw him yesterday and was wondering if you had to do the test, since they aren't coming vaginally anyway.  I hope that I remember to ask him next week when I see him, but you know how being pregnant affects your brain...
