Question for ladies who transferred from a RE to OB

To those of you who graduated from the RE to an OB, what was your first appointment at your OB like?  What did they do?  I had my last appointment with the RE last week (7 weeks 2 days).  That was the appointment where they did an ultrasound.  My first appointment with the OB is later this week, at 8 weeks 4 days. The receptionist told me it would be about an hour, and because I was transferring from a RE I didn't need to meet with the nurse first.  I have no idea what to expect. I am hoping they do an ultrasound but am pretty sure they won't since I just had one the week before.  Did your significant other come to this appointment?  Any input as to what to expect would be appreciated.    Thanks!
