How do you treat a common cold while pregnant?

This may seem like a dumb question but I am hoping you'll share your ideas and treatments. I'm not quite at the point where I think it needs a doctor, but I am at a point where I need some relief!

It started with a sore throat on its own, that lasted a few days. Had a low grade fever in there one day (99.5). Now it's mostly congestion and sneezing. Plus feeling run down. The main complaint is (sorry TMI) the mucus. I am sure normally Mucinex would be the obvious answer, but I'm looking for the safest options. I'm not a medicine taker to begin with and I definitely don't want an antibiotic unless absolutely necessary!
