1st Trimester

Meeting with a nutritionist this week.

And I am wondering what to epect.  What I would like, is for her to tell me the minimum calories I need to get through this pregnancy. That may sound crazy but with my last pregnancy, I gained almost 80 pounds and delivered a 10 lb 4oz baby. Since I am overweight (15 lbs overweight) going into this pregnancy, I am only supposed to gain up to 25 pounds, maximum, which is unfathomable to me.  I have been super careful and am only 3.5 pounds up from my starting weight, but even that much is too much at this point.  I really hope this isn't a "here is the daily food chart recommendation and here are  the food groups" session.  that is not what I need.  I need a regimented format that I can go by for the next 7 months.....unfortunately,  This is not going to be a wonderful 7 months, but I have to keep in mind that I will feel so much better coming home if I have only gained a little weight.. Oh well, wish me luck!
