I clearly must be doing something wrong eating wise. I have always been a little underweight/thin naturally, always eaten healthy, etc... but since becoming pregnant I am ALWAYS hungry. It seems to be getting worse and worse. I also get kind of dizzy easily when I am so hungry. I am even hungry a half hour after eating a huge meal. I don't eat meat but do eat a lot of other protein sources. Here is a small sample of my daily eating. If anyone knows of any good things to include to help with the hunger I would really appreciate it.
breakfast: 1 smoothie (1 cup greek yogurt, 1 banana, 1/3 avocado, 1 cup strawberries, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup milk)
snack: 1 service nuts (almonds, walnuts, or cashews), 1 whole wheat rice cake.
lunch: 1 serving protein (either tofu, eggs, salmon, or beans), 1 serving whole grains (usually quinoa, but sometimes brown rice or brown pasta), 2 servings veggies, 1 serving cheese.
snack: 1 piece fruit + wholewheat crackers and peanut butter.
dinner: Pretty much same as lunch but more protein and more veggies.
snack: Fruit.
I feel like all I do is eat, yet I am still hungry! Any ideas what can help? I am going to ask my doctor as well at my appointment on Friday. Thanks!
