I work with a woman who monopolizes every conversation she's in. She talks to fill the space. That's great for awkward silences, but to go on and on and on. I can't get a word in edgewise. I think she doesn't want a conversation with someone, she wants someone to sit and listen to her wax philosophical. Ok, vent over.
