How long to pump?
We had to introduce a bottle in the hospital because of DDs jaundice and lazy sucking (she latches but just sleeps). Thankfully last night she went back to the Brest for 10-20 mins on both sides - but has been hit or miss with the sucking today (1 bottle, other feeds on breast, about to get a bottle).
I know to pump every 3 hrs to make sure my supply comes in (when she doesn't feed), but how long do I need to pump? Lc suggested 20 mins but by 10 or so little is coming out (and I've gotten the 2nd letdown, but even that is over by 20 min). Any good guidelines?
