Tmi: yeast infection

After my pap 9 days ago I felt like I was getting a yeast infection.Monday I started monistat but I put it in in the am and basically  it all came out. So I did the next two at night. My vajayjay isn't sore anymore but still itches (not as bad as at first tho). Do I try another round of yeast infection meds or give it a few more days to clear?  Also, can untreated infection cause issues/mc?  Wwyd? Sorry for the tmi!
