Someone on the baby gear board was just saying how overwhelmed they were with baby gear. What to get, etc. Well I was that same way with DD. I highly recommend buying Baby Bargains. There is even a kindle edition. Or you can rent it from the library. It is seriously a life saver. It saves you TONS of money and helps you find the best and safest stuff that you really NEED! Awesome book.
