Beta question

May 2012 in 1st Trimester

First betas came back at 79.3 at 13 DPO. The nurse said that they are cautiously optimistic because they like to see it over 100. I thought 79 sounded pretty solid, anyone else know why they would say this?

Diagnosed PCOS and hypothyroidism 2/12. Began Metformin and Synthroid 2/12. Currently waiting to redo blood work before moving on to clomid and IUI hopefully by May/June.
