For the love of god I will NEVER understand the popularity of tankinis.  If you can wear a 2-piece, awesome.  If not, a one-piece provides a much more flattering silhouette on almost anyone IMO.  And it is much better at compressing the less flattering areas.  I pretty much never see someone in a tankini where I don't think "that looks fine but a one piece suit would look better".
