Internet. Best Friend? of Worst Enemy?

I got so-so news from my doctor yesturday at my frist visit, basically the talk went like this, "so that cyst you have there on your ovary could be home to your fetus, or that tiny tiny little sac in your uterus could be the start of a healthy happy baby right where she belongs, we'll let ya know friday." so natually i went home to my frenemie Google, and started typing and clicking away. Some of the things i read were good, others were absolutely horrifying. Trying to distract myself from hopping back on there, but now some of the information is just tattooed on my brain, good and bad. What is everyone's thoughts on medical guidess via the internet?
