6 weeks, 2 days...heartbeat?

Hello!

I am 6w2d by my calculations (LMP) and went for my first appointment today.  They did a full exam and answered all my questions.  They also said since I came off BC 2.5 months ago and the 2 periods I did have were regular since they they wanted to do an internal u/s to confirm dating.  I am looking to see who here has heard the heartbeat and when.  Do I have any chance of hearing it as they set it up for this afternoon?  I dont get another ultrasound until 12 weeks so I am just wondering.  As we all know being the one to carry these LO's is a big burden so I just want to make sure all is well.  Let me know when you heard yours if it was around my timeline or earlier!!
